Arizona Democrats File Lawsuit Against Republicans, Donald Trump

Arizona's Democratic Party may be looking for a last minute bask in the political sunlight, as the group just file a lawsuit against the Republican Party of Arizona to keep them from sending poll watchers to voting sites.

The suit was filed because Democrats fear that Republican volunteer poll watchers might start photographing and harassing voters at polling locations. Democrats want the courts to ban these Republican volunteers from any and all voting locations.

Don't expect any judge to sign off on this lawsuit.

Wait, this poll watching practice is legal, and Democrats also employ or dispatch their own poll watchers during election season.

According to the Associated Press, Arizona Democrats say that the GOP is "essentially an arm of Trump's campaign," adding that "its backers have been organizing “citizen journalists” and “poll watchers” to flood minority-heavy polling sites on Nov. 8."

Of course the Republican Party is going to push for their presidential nominee, just as the Democratic Party push for theirs.

The real translation of this lawsuit is very simple:

Democrats believe that Republicans are out to intimidate and suppress Hispanics from legally or illegally voting on election day.
