Former MCRC Chairman, Rob Haney, has released video number five in a series focused on reasons why Arizona Republicans should vote “Never McCain”, and for the Democrat in the U.S. Senate race this November.

Haney was behind the efforts to censure McCain in 2014 as well as 2016, and he is not the only one in the party who plans on voting for, Ann Kirkpatrick. During the county meeting in January 2016, some PC’s told a reporter from the “New Times”, they would consider voting for Kirkpatrick if McCain won his primary.

Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?

The party has previously commiserated about revoking the voting rights of some PC’s for their support of Democrat candidates in the general election. However, after talk of lawsuits began, they opted for a censure instead.

Shortly after the August primary, a public group called “Never McCain” was started on Facebook. The members include some PC’s as well the Maricopa County Republican Party Chairman.

The site focuses on the various issues Republicans have with McCain. There is however, no mention of Ann Kirkpatrick’s assertion that her vote for Obamacare was her proudest moment. Missing is also her avid support of the DREAM Act.

The Maricopa County Republican website currently has a quote on their front page from the chairman saying, “Reagan's eleventh commandment, ‘Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican,’ is as necessary today as it was in the 70's and 80's when he first promoted it. With a crowded GOP presidential field and tight races all across the country in 2016, Republicans must tighten our rhetoric and keep our eyes on the prize -- complete Republican victory and economic prosperity for all Americans.”

With Donald Trump only 2.2 percent ahead in a state which is normally a Republican safe haven, the Democrats may have a good showing; potentially turning the state a shade of red is has not seen since 1948.
