Crane Rips Democrats on Border

AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes: Prior to the starting any construction or operational activities, DHS must answer basic questions about the use of the facility and its impacts upon the local community.

State Representative Alma Hernandez: I’m incredibly excited to share that my bill passed out of the Health & Human Services Committee with overwhelmingly bipartisan support. This legislation establishes the Emergency Food Assistance Fund, administered by DES, to ensure continuity of food banks and hunger relief organizations when federal government is shut down again. The bill appropriates $5 million in grants to go to food banks, food pantries, and community-based hunger relief organizations so they can expand emergency food distribution across our state. I want to sincerely thank the more than 250 individuals and organizations who supported this legislation. The reality is, we cannot depend on Congress. We know it is often dysfunctional and when the federal government shuts down, hunger doesn’t stop, but funding does. Families are left in limbo through no fault of their own. This bill creates a state-level safety net to provide stability during those moments of uncertainty and to make sure help is there when people need it most. Making sure the most vulnerable people in our communities have access to food should never be partisan. HB2683 is about preparedness, responsibility, and compassion. It’s about stepping up at the state level to protect Arizona families and ensure that no one goes hungry because of political gridlock. I’m proud of this step forward but we don’t stop here Please contact the chairman of the appropriations committee and urge him to put this up for a vote Rep. Livingston dlivingston@azleg.gov

State Representative Alexander Kolodin: The Arizona Secure Elections ballot referral passed the AZ House today in a party-line vote. AZ House Republicans are not willing to compromise on what the people demand - voter ID and address confirmation to ensure that mail-in ballots are securely delivered to the correct recipient. We urge our Senate colleagues to quickly take up the measure and send this question to the people to decide!

State Representative Cheryl Caswell: I [love] this! Met my husband at 17, married at 23. That was 34 years ago and we raised our Triplets together! Many said we would never last- Many said our marriage could not survive raising multiples….Many are wrong! I was blessed to find my soulmate so young in life and now we have our golden years to explore together! My best friend in life IS my husband.

State Representative Nick Kupper: I appreciate all of my colleagues for helping me unanimously pass HB2010 out of the House yesterday.

State Representative Walt Blackman: Honored to serve LD-7 as Chairman of the House Government Committee. Accountability. Transparency. Constitutional governance. Let’s keep Arizona moving forward. Re-elect Walt Blackman.

State Representative Quang Nguyen: HB2132 lowers the threshold of possession and trafficking from 200 to 100 grams of fentanyl with a mandatory minimum of five years in prison. Thank you all for your support.
