A shooting has occurred in Pima County in an incident involving U.S. Border Patrol, with one person in critical condition.
Details remain sparse, but it is known to have occurred near milepost 15 of West Arivaca Road at 7:30 AM.
One person is now in critical condition after receiving immediate care from the Santa Rita Fire District and American Medical Response, but their identity has not yet been disclosed.
What is known, however, is that the U.S. Border Patrol was involved in the incident, which is under investigation by the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
This incident occurred just three days after ICE agents fatally shot Alex Jeffrey Pretti in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after Pretti allegedly attempted to draw a gun on ICE officers during a protest that turned violent.
