Robson on National Debt

Karrin Taylor Robson is speaking out about the growing national debt, which just reached a new record of $38 trillion this week.

The Arizona gubernatorial candidate isn't holding back in her criticism of Washington. "Thanks to career politicians in DC, our national debt just hit a record $38 trillion," Robson shared on X. "Congress keeps writing checks it can't cash, piling debt onto our kids and grandkids, and weakening our economy."

Senator Mark Kelly: This Administration is tying itself in knots trying to explain why these strikes in the Caribbean are legal or effective. These routes are more commonly used to smuggle drugs to Europe, not the United States.

Senator Ruben Gallego: Families are fighting to afford groceries and gas. Inflation's up, energy costs are through the roof. Donald Trump's biggest concern? Knocking down the White House's historic east wing to build a ballroom for himself.

Representative Andy Biggs: I was pleased to meet with Japan's Consul General Kosei Murota. I enjoyed learning more about Japan's culture and am looking forward to working together in the future to strengthen the partnership between our two nations.

Representative Paul Gosar: Democrats: Inflicting suffering to please their radical base. Sickening.

Representative Eli Crane: Arizona's senators could provide two of the five votes needed to end the government shutdown. Enough is enough.

Representative Juan Ciscomani: Across Arizona, 22 Head Start programs at 500 locations help kids learn and families succeed. If the #SchumerShutdown continues past Nov 1, classrooms could close and teachers could be furloughed, putting these vital services at risk. Our kids deserve better. End the shutdown.

Representative Abe Hamadeh: Cruelty should have no place in politics. But it seems to be the point of this shutdown exercise for the Democrats. They are punishing the American people for the "sin" of supporting President Trump's America First Agenda. And they're bragging about it.

Representative Greg Stanton: We salute Luis Ibarra, a @USArmy veteran who dedicated his life to service. After returning from overseas, he organized civil rights protests for the fair treatment of farm workers and went on to give back to his community as a social worker and leader of Friendly House.

Representative Yassamin Ansari: Republicans have a trifecta. This shutdown is on them. They refuse to do their jobs. Democrats will continue to show up every day, ready to work for the American people.
