Hamadeh on Kirk's Medal
Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) praised President Donald Trump's awarding of the Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative activist Charlie Kirk posthumously.
President Trump presented the medal to Kirk's widow, Erika, on what would have been Kirk's 32nd birthday.
"Thank you, Mr. President, for honoring my husband in such a profound and meaningful way, and thank you for making this event a priority amid the peace process in the Middle East," Mrs. Kirk expressed.

Senator Mark Kelly: This World Food Day, I'm thinking about the kids and parents across the world who are starving because this administration has gutted lifesaving food programs. I'm grateful to @CindyMcCain and the @WFP for their work to get food to those in need in Gaza, Sudan, and many other places. It makes our country safer and stronger when we're part of that effort to prevent hunger and promote stability.
Senator Ruben Gallego: Fathers like Steve just want the best for their kids. Republicans MUST extend the ACA tax credits.
Representative Andy Biggs: No one is above the law.

Representative Juan Ciscomani: Shameful. The House passed a clean CR, with no strings attached, nearly one month ago. Senate Democrats continue to play politics.
Representative Abe Hamadeh: Charlie Kirk set an example of how we can disagree without being disagreeable, His principles and practices were the epitome of those for which the Medal of Freedom is awarded.
Representative Greg Stanton: Nearly every Pentagon media outlet did the right thing and refused to sign the Pentagon’s loyalty pledge. A free press doesn’t need permission slips. Drop this unconstitutional muzzle and let the press do its job.
Representative Yassamin Ansari: Eliminating backpay for federal employees is another attempt by Trump to demoralize and bully the federal workforce. I'm calling on @russvought to actually follow the law and ensure furloughed employees get backpay.
