Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) discussed the previous administration's efforts to hide President Joe Biden's cognitive decline in a recent appearance on Newsmax, calling it "a political decision instead of a medical decision."

Rep. Biggs shared the interview segment on X. In the caption, he expressed that "the coverup of Joe Biden's mental incapacity is the largest presidential scandal in American history. Jill Biden, Kevin O'Connor, and Joe's inner circle orchestrated a massive campaign of deceit against the American people. @GOPoversight is demanding accountability."

In the interview, Rep. Biggs suggested that Biden's White House physician, Kevin O'Connor, refused to subject the former President to a cognitive test, despite the fact that "Americans rely on that with regard to the 25th Amendment."

"And basically," Rep. Biggs continued, "they said, 'We are not going to do anything about that. We are basically going to hide that.' And they all admit it. You actually had testimony where they did that for a political purpose. Not for a medical purpose, not for the best interests of the country, but solely for Joe Biden's political future."

The Arizona Congressman's comments come days after the House Oversight Committee released a 100-page report detailing the years-long effort to hide President Biden's mental decline and usage of an autopen to sign policy into law, raising concerns about their legitimacy.

Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) commented on the autopen scandal in a recent appearance on Fox News, calling it "a stunning report that every American should be deeply concerned about."

"Think about this: There are 162 executive orders that were signed by Joe Biden or his autopen. We are not sure which. And when the staff was brought before the Committee to really decide what happened during those four years, many of them pleaded the Fifth, so we know that there was an absolute cover-up of his decline," she warned.
