Andy Biggs Condemns Hamas' Mass Executions Amidst Peace Deal Signing

Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) condemned a recent mass execution carried out by Hamas, even after they signed the Trump-brokered peace deal with Israel, in an X post.

The New York Post explained that Hamas recently executed eight men, whom they claimed were "criminals and collaborators with Israel." Gruesome footage has been posted online, showing the militants shooting the blindfolded men in front of cheering crowds.

One of the victims was Ahmad Zidan al-Tarabin, who was supposedly recruiting Palestinians into a rival militia, marking the latest in a series of clashes between Hamas and dissident Gazans.

As noted, the reprisal comes a day after Hamas signed the peace deal with Israel, which President Donald Trump has said, if carried out fully, would require Hamas to disarm and give up power in Gaza.

President Trump recently said Hamas would be allowed to continue maintaining internal security within Gaza as the hostages are released.

"You have close to 2 million people going back to buildings that have been demolished, and a lot of bad things can happen," Trump said on Air Force One. "So we want it to be — we want it to be safe. I think it's going to be fine. Who knows for sure?"

Nevertheless, Rep. Biggs condemned the executions on X, saying Hamas would face consequences for breaking the ceasefire agreement.

"Hamas is carrying out barbaric executions in the streets," Rep. Biggs said. "Under President Trump's historic peace plan, Hamas was expected to disarm and surrender governance of Gaza. They must do so expeditiously or face consequences for violating the ceasefire."

Ironically, Representative Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) praised the recent ceasefire, calling for "enforcing the agreement and laying the groundwork for a viable Palestinian state alongside Israel, living in peace and security."
