Hamadeh Praises Netanyahu for Nominating Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) issued a statement praising Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for nominating President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize in a recent post to X (formerly Twitter).

The Hill described a recent meeting between the two leaders, the first in-person meeting since the U.S. strikes on Iran, during which Netanyahu presented Trump with a letter for the nomination.

"The President has already realized a great opportunity. He forged the Abraham Accords. He's forging peace as we speak in one country and one region after the other," said Netanyahu, adding, "So, I want to present to you, Mr. President, the letter I sent to the Nobel Prize committee. It's nominating you for the Peace Prize, which is well deserved."

On X (formerly Twitter), Rep. Hamadeh said in response, "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's formal nomination of President Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize is a bold recognition of a simple truth: true peace is forged through strength."

"No leader in American history has grasped that principle more fully or acted on it more decisively than President Donald J. Trump, who confronted evil, brokered historic peace deals, and reshaped the Middle East through bold, unapologetic leadership," the Arizona Congressman continued. "This nomination isn't just well-deserved— it's a reminder of what real leadership looks like. I call on the Nobel Foundation to award this honor to the President."

In late June, Hamadeh issued a statement condemning the bombing of the Soroka Hospital near Beer Shiva by Iran as part of its indiscriminate bombing campaign in retaliation for Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Additionally, the former Army Captain further stated, "President Trump achieved what no president ever delivered in the region, PEACE – through the Abraham Accords. I have full confidence that our Commander in Chief, President Donald Trump, will ensure the safety of our people and our interests."

And Trump could very well be rewarded for it.
