Gallego's NLRB Win

Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) celebrated a recent announcement that the National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB) Phoenix office will remain open, saying, "The NLRB plays a vital role in protecting workers' rights across the country."

As Cactus Politics covered near the end of May, General Services Administration (GSA) Acting Administrator Stephen Ehikian announced the Phoenix NLRB office would cancel its leasing contract.

Sen. Gallego, together with Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), spearheaded a letter urging against the decision, as the Phoenix office received 1,200 requests for investigations and covers 16,000 workers, making the potential cancellation of the office's lease, and thus its closure, a disadvantage to workers under its jurisdiction.

Senator Ruben Gallego: Earlier this year, I reached out to the administration and my colleagues across the aisle letting them know I am ready and willing to work in a bipartisan fashion to find thoughtful solutions to use federal land for affordable housing. I heard nothing. Now, they are burying language to sell off public lands in their reckless budget bill – arbitrarily mandating how much land should be sold and leaving out any protections to ensure the housing built on that land would be affordable. This isn’t the solution.

Representative Andy Biggs: It speaks to the lawlessness of the last four years that as soon as a duly elected President enforces the law, the radical Left thinks him to be a king.

Representative Eli Crane: Honored to receive the Champion of Limited Government Award from @leganalysis. I'm grateful to stand alongside colleagues who defend the U.S. Constitution and promote limited government.

Representative Juan Ciscomani: Visited @bensonhospital_earlier this June to reaffirm my commitment to healthcare access in rural AZ. I fought to keep harmful Medicaid changes out of the “One Big Beautiful Bill”—protecting the elderly, disabled, single moms, & more.

Representative Abe Hamadeh: Congressman Hamadeh urges Defense Secretary Hegseth & General Allvin, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, to reconsider a potential downgrade for Luke Air Force Base. Luke’s unique mission is of great significance. We shouldn’t rush to fix what’s not broken.

Representative Greg Stanton: Veterans taking college courses online receive only half the housing allowance of those attending in person. @RepCiscomani and I are leading the bipartisan fight in Congress to fix this so that veterans get the full support they’ve earned no matter how they choose to learn. RT if you support!
