Ocasio-Cortez describes herself as "radical"

During a 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper, Puerto Rican Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) proudly labeled herself a “radical” for her objective to push a very progressive “radical agenda” that includes legislative measures like the “Green New Deal.”

“If that’s what radical means, then call me a radical.” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D)

Like most Democrats, regardless of how progressive they are perceived to be, or claim to be, Ocasio-Cortez took the national spotlight political program to take a swipe at President Donald Trump buy tagging him as a racist.

“The president certainly didn’t invent racism, but he’s certainly given a voice to it and expanded it, and created a platform for those things.”

The Trump Administration responded by calling Ocasio-Cortez’s remark ignorant.

But like Trump (but not as prolific, yet) Ocasio-Cortez is making a name for herself on Twitter. Unfortunately for Ocasio-Cortez, the focus has been the factual legislative errors she has stated on the social media platform.

Regardless of her errors and missteps on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez, who owns up to her “clumsy” remarks, does not appear to care much about what others say.
