Arizona's not-so-conservative candidate election night finish

A few weeks ago we highlighted four dimwits who make conservatives look bad, and we asked GOP primary voters to do us a favor and send them packing.

Well, we batted .750!  Three of the four are gone!  Sayonara!

  • Don Shooter finished an ignominious third, garnering only 21% of the vote.  Being expelled by your colleagues for years of sexually-related bad behavior doesn’t sit well with voters, apparently.
  • Speeding Paul Mosely – he of triple-digit speeding fame, made far worse by claims of immunity and that the law doesn’t apply to him – also came in a dismal third.  No more high-speed trips to the capital for Paul!
  • Diane Douglas – Gone!  Third place in a 5-way field.  This is almost impossible to fathom.  A splintered field in a low-name ID race practically guarantees an incumbent’s victory.  That’s how bad she was!  Even with the opposition splitting the vote, she’s outta here!
  • Alas, we’re still stuck with white nationalist David Stringer.  “There aren’t enough white kids to go around.”  Too bad Stringer’s still around.

Oh well, three out of four isn’t bad.  Surely some other dimwits will step up to replace the defeated ones.  Stay tuned.
