Charlie Crist/ SHARK TANK
The Almighty God has a say in everything that happens in life, including what will eventually happened to the thousands of “Dreamers” that live illegally in the United States of America.
One newly-elected Congressman, Charlie Crist (D), may have spoken to God about President-elect Donald Trump’s possible softening on illegal immigration reform.
Trump ran on a hardline immigration position during the 2016 election cycle, but recently told Time magazine that he “going to work something out that’s going to make people happy and proud.”
Trump added:
“They got brought here at a very young age, they’ve worked here, they’ve gone to school here. Some were good students. Some have wonderful jobs. And they’re in never-never land because they don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Crist likes what he hears now Trump, saying that “God would be pleased” with his new position on “Dreamers.”
“Being a nation of immigrants, I think it’s important we embrace that kind of hope … I would say to the president-elect, ‘I appreciate you showing your heart. And if it’s a little softer, what’s wrong with that? God would be pleased,’” Rep. Charlie Crist, CNN’s “State of the Union.”
