Not one to mince his words, Rep. Ruben Gallego (R) expressed his concerns over a possible Supreme Court Justice appointment by Donald Trump at the second and last senatorial debate between Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Patrick Murphy in Florida.
Gallego traveled to Davie, Florida to serve as one of Rep. Patrick Murphy’s debate surrogates and dish out dirt on Republican Senator Marco.
When we asked Gallego what his thoughts were about how Murphy invoked Donald Trump every time he answered a question, Gallego defended Murphy by pointing out that “Donald Trump may have a lot of power” and that he will “have the right to appoint a Supreme Court justice,” if he is elected president.
Gallego added that Rubio is actually playing the role of obstructionist in the U.S. Senate by not allowing a vote on President Obama’s latest Supreme Court pick.
Marco Rubio is actually holding a Supreme Court seat open in the hopes (sic) that Donald Trump gets to appoint that person, there’s no other reason why.-Rep. Ruben Gallego (D)
