Donald Trump Jr. is coming to Arizona to raise funds for the Arizona Republican Party. The Trump campaign has very little infrastructure in the state, so the AZGOP has essentially taken over the ground opperation. That opperation however pails in comparison to the efforts the Clinton campaign is making, including an increase of 2 million to the Arizona advertising budget.
In what surely will not be the last visit for the Trump family to the state, Donald Trump Jr. and AZGOP chairman Robert Graham will host a findraiser at an undisclosed location. The invitiation lists the date and time of the fundraiser, but not a location. The invitation obtained by Cactus Politics reads:
Address provided upon RSVP
Attending the lunch reception event will cosr supporters $250, however in order to attend the VIP reception and receive a photo opportunity with Trump Jr. will cost attedees a cool $2,500.
Trump Jr. has been making the rounds for his father, visiting Ohio and Florida today and heading west later this week.

On the back of a slew of high-profile Democrat visits to Arizona, the event comes at a time when the Trupm campaign is striggling to keep the poll numbers at a competitive level in Arizona and many other western states. Today, Real Clear Politics has Arizona, Utah and Texas, clasic republican states, listed as “toss-ups”. This at a time when the electoral math for the Trump campaign keeps getting worse.
It remains to be seen if Trump himself or his running mate Mike Pence will make any more visits to Arizona.
